During the meeting:

  1. Ask Cub Scouts what good racers do.  Write their answers on the chart paper.

Examples may include:
Be kind
Cheer for my friends
Follow the rules
Say “Good race”

 

  1. Have Cub Scouts, with their adult partners, recite a Race Time Pledge:

“I will be a good racer.
I will follow the rules.
I will cheer for my friends.”
