Leader: Raise the Cub Scout sign and wait for quiet and attention.
Then say, “As we close our meeting today, I’d like to share a final thought with you,” and read Leader Minute.
Today, I want to talk about being Loyal. Loyal is the second point of the Scout Law. A Scout is Loyal. Being loyal means sticking by your friends, family, and your team—no matter what!
Imagine you’re playing a game with your friends. You cheer for them when they’re winning, and you help them when they need it, even if things aren’t going so well. That’s being loyal! It’s about being there for the people you care about and supporting them, even if things get tough.
Loyalty is like being a good teammate. You help, you encourage, and you stay true to your friends. When you’re loyal, others know they can count on you, just like you can count on them!
Being loyal also means to do the right thing. We can be loyal by standing up for a friend who is being bullied. Loyalty can mean respecting our leaders. We can also be loyal by working to make our community a better place for everyone.
So, let’s remember to always be loyal to our friends and family, just like a good teammate. Stick together, help each other, and always be there when someone needs you!
