- 4-foot length of blue paracord (1 per Den Chief)
- 4-foot length of yellow paracord (1 per Den Chief)
- Den Chief shoulder cord (1 per Den Chief)
- Den Chief handbook (1 per Den Chief)

Directions
Before the Ceremony
- Print the ceremony script.
- Purchase items from the Scout Store.
- Cut and fuse paracord.
During the Ceremony
- Give Den Leader the Den Chief shoulder cord and Den Chief handbook.
- Narrator follows the script
