Directions

Before the meeting:

Set up meeting space to have room to lay out all the items on a table or the floor.

During the meeting:

Explain to Cub Scouts that they’re going to make a “Safe Rider” by selecting the best safety gear.
Have Cub Scouts pick out the pieces of equipment that they think will make them safe on a bike ride and write them down.
Ask each Cub Scout to share their choices and discuss why it is or is not safe.
