  • 1 Passport per Cub Scout

Before the meeting: 

  1. Print out one passport per Cub Scout. 
  2. Select a date that you would like families to complete their Family & Reverence passport. 
  3. Send out an email and/or text about the Family & Reverence Adventure, and that the requirements will be completed at home. Families may choose to complete this Adventure using the passport or by earning the   Religious Emblem   of their choice. 
  4. Remind adults to record when requirements are finished in their Cub Scout’s passport. When completed, ask that they send the passport back to the leader. Provide a requested due date for Adventure completion. 

During the meeting: 

  1. Hand out passports to Cub Scouts. 
  2. Review the requirements with the group and ask them to complete the activities with their families. 
  3. Ask Cub Scouts to return the passport when they have completed the requirements. 

After the meeting: 

  1. Remind the families to return completed passports to their Cub Scout leader.

This activity will set a calm and reflective tone as Cub Scouts and their families arrive for the Reverence Adventure. It encourages participants to think about and express what reverence means to them in a creative way.
