The Memorial Gold Star Award offers units a meaningful way to honor a past or present member who gave their life in service to our country. This recognition may be incorporated into a unit’s traditions—either through a solemn, unit‑created ceremony or as part of a court of honor—providing a dignified opportunity to remember and celebrate their sacrifice.
